Academics and the school day
Set up the year once. Run every day from it.
Sessions, classes and the timetable are set up once, and attendance, homework, exams and fees all work from them.
- Sessions, with year-end promotion to the next class
- Classes, sections and subjects, from Nursery to class 12
- A timetable by period, with substitutions for teachers who are absent, late or on leave, and a printable arrangement sheet
- Homework for a whole class or chosen students, and checking it
- Certificates, including the TC, bonafide and character certificates; a TC with dues shows a warning and is never blocked

Attendance and leave
Know who’s in, and who needs a call
Teachers mark their class on the web or in the app. The office sees who is missing, and who has been missing for days, before the first period ends.

Exams and report cards
From marks to report cards, without retyping
Exams, marks and report cards live next to attendance and the timetable, so results come from the same record of each child.
- Exams and marks entry, with marks due shown on each teacher’s Today
- CBSE report cards with grading from pre-primary (Nursery, LKG, UKG) to class 12
- Date sheets and admit cards
- Results are essential mail: they reach parents even in quiet hours
Pass: at least 33% in every subject.
CBSE bands: A1 91+ · A2 81+ · B1 71+ · B2 61+ · C1 51+ · C2 41+ · D 33+ · E 0+. Percentages round to the nearest whole number first.

Communication
Fewer messages, and kinder ones
Notices, messages and email are designed to reach parents without flooding them, and to keep staff numbers private.
- Notices, including an emergency closure
- Parent–teacher messages inside the app; parents never see staff phone numbers or email
- A language filter for English, Hindi and Hinglish on messages, homework, notices, leave reasons and remarks
- One digest email at 6 pm on school days, and quiet hours from 8 pm to 8 am for anything non-essential
- Essential mail always goes: sign-in, consent, fee receipts, 80C certificates, results and emergencies
- A delivery log, a list of parents not reached, and a log of sent emails with resend
- An in-app notification bell; push notifications on phones are coming soon
- No SMS, by choice
Every message is checked for abusive words before it is sent.
The three messages are fixed examples; nothing you choose is sent anywhere.

Fees
A fee office, not just a payment button
Fee heads, class-wise structures and instalments, a rule library, concessions with maker-checker, RTE seats, the fee counter, gap-free receipts, cheques, 80C certificates and online payment into the school’s own account.
- Rules are simulated and approved before they go live, and never rewrite the past; presets cover 11 states
- Nobody approves their own concession, waiver or refund
- Receipts numbered per school and financial year, with no gaps
- Online fee payment through Cashfree (UPI, cards, net banking), settling to the school’s own account
₹10 a day after the 15th, capped at ₹300 per instalment.

Dashboards
A Today view for every role
Each person signs in to what their own day needs, and nothing they shouldn’t see.
- Principal and school admin: unmarked sections, absentees, substitutions, approvals, exams, communication and the fees card
- Front office: absentees with contacts, staff attendance, admissions, and the fee counter if the school allows it
- Teacher: periods, substitutions, class attendance, homework to check, leave and marks due
- Parent: today, homework, exams, notices, messages and a fees card that says plainly when something is due
- Organisation admin: an overview across all the organisation’s schools

Mobile app
The school in every parent’s pocket
An Android and iOS app with two sign-in doors: one for parents, and one for teachers and school leaders. Principals and school admins get their Today view in the app too.
- Parents: today, homework, exams, notices, messages and fees
- Pay online or ask for more time, download receipts and the tuition fee certificate for income tax
- Parents give or decline consent for their child’s data themselves, and can delete their own account
- Teachers: attendance, homework, messages and parents’ contacts, masked until needed
- Store listings are on the way; we’ll share the timing in your demo
White-label
Your school’s own address, and its own email
Every school opens on its own address, like yourschool.acadvio.com. With white-label, we set up your own domain for the portal and for email together.
- One switch: the portal on your domain and email from notify.yourschool.edu.in
- Acadvio generates the DNS records (SPF, DKIM, return-path, bounce MX and DMARC) and verifies them
- Records are re-checked every day; if one breaks, mail falls back to the standard sender and your admins are told
- Without white-label, email still carries your school’s name
- Every email says “Please don’t reply”, and points parents to the app or portal, so replies never go missing

Acadvio doesn’t send SMS, on purpose. Messages reach parents through the app, in-app notices and email, with the school’s name on every one.
What Acadvio doesn’t do today
We’d rather tell you now than in month three. Besides what’s coming soon, these are not part of Acadvio and not planned at the moment:
